MINTON ARCHIVE

This beautiful collection of prints was published under license from the Royal Dalton Company, which holds the archive of the works of the designer and master engraver Thomas Minton. Minton founded his factory in Stoke-on-Trent in 1793 producing eclectic designs, which reflected fashionable art movements from Europe and the Far East. Taken from that source material this collection of 43 images shows the range of Minton's creativity. Twenty one of these prints are published as numbered limited editions embossed with the Minton insignia while the remainder are open editions: all are printed on acid-free paper. WINDSOR COLLECTION

This fine collection of drawings in Windsor Castle was reproduced under the direction of Sir John Fortescue in the early part of the 20th century. They are faithful in every detail to the originals - no retouching or modification has been carried out to counter the effects of the past two to three hundred years. All these prints are finite in availability - once the few remaining ones are sold they cannot be repeated. The works are by eminent artists such as Hans Holbein, Antonio Canaletto and Raphael. The reproductions of the Holbein drawings were produced by the highly praised collotype process.
